On the occasion of Copenhagen 2021 LGBT komiteen publishes an English translation of its compendium of inclusive family law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The compendium contains an analysis of Danish family law and its shortcomings in relation to rainbow families. It enumerates 30 recommendations on amendments to the law. Furthermore it contains a sketch of an inclusive Children’s Act which cope with more than two legal parents as well as with trans parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though family law differs from country to country it is considered valuable to present in English this comprehensive approach to create an inclusive family law for Denmark. Many aspects are comparable to other countries, and it is the hope that presenting a coherent and rather complete approach can be an inspiration to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
